Thank you to each and every person that attended our 7th Annual Watermen’s Appreciation Day! To all of the volunteers, the sponsors, the donations, the musicians, celebrities and everyone in between!
There were so many fun things during this year’s event – the boat docking contest brought Governor Hogan, Del. Johnny Mautz and Sen. Addie Eckhardt, we also had Josh and Casey from television’s Deadliest Catch bring one of their Alaskan King Crabs, there were kids activities, the Anchor toss, and of course all of the exhibits at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, and the Buy Boats reunion! It was a great, but hot day, and a fun time was had by all!
In case you didn’t know, proceeds from events like this one, go towards a variety of watermen’s related causes and concerns. We always strive to support our own, especially in times of need, and we do all that we can to help continue to preserve and protect our way of life, and working for a living on the Chesapeake. Thank you again for supporting our organization, and supporting Talbot Watermen.
Check out this year’s t-shirt design from CrabiGras!! These are hot! And they’ll be on sale ONLY at Watermen’s Appreciation Day! Get yours before they sell out! Awesome stuff!
